About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Donor Carer Venepuncturist to join our team at NHS Scotland. As a key member of our Donor Services Blood Collection Team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our donors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional care to donors, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the blood collection process.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to maintain the highest standards of patient care and donor satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with donors, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the smooth operation of our blood collection services.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work variable hours, including Sundays and late evenings.
  • Flexibility to travel extensively throughout the region.
