About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Donor Carer Venepuncturist to join our team at NHS Scotland. As a key member of our Donor Services Blood Collection Team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our donors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional care and support to donors during blood collection procedures
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure efficient and effective blood collection operations
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with donors, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve donor care and blood collection services

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of healthcare or customer-focused environments
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work variable hours, including Sundays and late evenings
  • Flexibility to travel throughout the region
