Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional Programme Officer to join our Diversity and Inclusion team at Cloud Online Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in building a more inclusive and diverse engineering industry.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team of dedicated diversity professionals who provide leadership and insight on a wide range of areas, including policy development, organisational leadership, inclusive cultures, diverse networks, and navigating early careers.

In this role, you will work directly with engineering companies on our award-winning Graduate Engineering Engagement programme (GEEP), supporting them to get the most from the programme and build impactful opportunities to engage and recruit students from underrepresented groups. You will also have the opportunity to make a direct impact on the lives of early career engineers as you coordinate and nurture our growing network of GEEP alumni and ambassadors, creating a programme of engagement and events to support and inspire their career journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating and growing the newly-launched Alumni strand of the Academy's award-winning Graduate Engineering Engagement Programme (GEEP)
  • Coordinating the logistics support provided to key stakeholders, including industry and delivery partners
  • Acting as the lead logistics contact for GEEP corporate partners and our delivery partners, working with the Programme Manager to coordinate their engagement with the programme and supporting the transition and retention of hundreds of engineering graduates from under-represented backgrounds in the profession
  • Helping build a new network of engineering companies around the UK who are committed to advancing diversity and inclusion
  • Providing team support across engineering industry-facing events and programming

What You'll Gain

You will also support the Programme manager and wider D&I Team in the effective delivery of all industry-focused and early careers related work, including keeping key stakeholders informed of our activity, providing smooth administration for meetings and events, and maintaining communications databases.
