Location: Remote

Type: Full-time Contract

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Compensation: £200 - £250 per day

We are seeking a Junior IT Business Consultant to join our dynamic team at Deloitte - Recruitment. This role involves supporting various software implementation and maintenance projects. As a Junior IT Business Consultant, your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing, documenting, and conveying technical requirements to stakeholders, including developers, project managers, and business users.
  • Engaging with clients during requirement gathering workshops.
  • Configuring technologies such as Zoho and Amazon Connect according to specified requirements.
  • Documenting test scripts for System Integration Testing (SIT).
  • Assisting the testing team throughout SIT and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Supporting PMO activities for each project.
  • Creating documentation for configurations and user guides for end users.
  • Facilitating training sessions for end users on the technology.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to determine business and technical requirements for projects.
  • Documenting technical requirements clearly and concisely.
  • Communicating technical requirements effectively to developers, project managers, and business users.
  • Working closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of technical requirements.
  • Configuring and developing technical solutions as per agreed specifications.
  • Contributing to System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases.
  • Providing technical support to project teams as necessary.
  • Conducting gap analysis to identify areas for improvement in current systems and processes.
  • Maintaining comprehensive project documentation, including functional specifications, technical specifications, test scripts, exit reports, and user manuals.
  • Participating in project planning and estimation activities.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Experience in requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation.
  • Familiarity with implementing low-code technology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience with Zoho technology or alternative low-code platforms.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., TFS, Zoho).
  • Relevant qualifications such as Prince2 or Business Analysis certifications.
  • Ability to understand coding and methodologies (e.g., Deluge, Python, Java).
  • Proven ability to take ownership of tasks and drive them to successful completion.
