About the Role

This is a leadership role within Crown Lift Trucks Ltd, responsible for managing the Field Service and Workshop activities in line with company objectives.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Customer Care team to ensure efficient planning and administration of field service teams, providing best-in-class customer service.

Additionally, the role will involve managing the Branch Parts department to ensure stock levels are maintained and parts replenishments are done to provide best-in-class parts supply to customers and engineers.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing a similar team structure, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a field service management role.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and motivating the team to maximize performance and achieve optimum utilization and efficiency of employee time and skill set.
  • Providing cost-effective solutions and the highest standards of service delivery while meeting contractual obligations and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Ensuring all new employees receive a full induction to the business and complete relevant training.
  • Monitoring the performance of the region and providing management information as required.
  • Championing and promoting the core values of the Company at all times.
  • Ensuring compliance with current policies, processes, and procedures.

This role is predominantly office-based in our Warrington Branch.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum five years relevant industry experience.
  • Technical knowledge of the product range.
  • People management experience.
  • Proven leadership skills.
