Senior Planning Policy Specialist

Join a leading consultancy in Yorkshire and take on a challenging role as a Senior Planning Policy Specialist. As a key member of the team, you will provide expert planning advice on strategic planning policy matters and contribute to business development activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement planning policies to guide development and promote sites through the Local Plan system.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support site promotion and planning appraisals.
  • Prepare high-quality reports and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with project teams to deliver successful projects.
  • Identify and pursue business development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) with experience in the Local Plan system.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Business development capabilities and commercial awareness.
