Join our dynamic team as an Instrumentation and Control Systems Engineer.

The Instrumentation & Control Systems Engineer will play a pivotal role in overseeing all engineering tasks within the organization, ensuring timely project delivery and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate communication, decision-making, and negotiation processes.
  • Prepare instrument datasheets, block cable diagrams, and cable routing drawings.
  • Develop equipment layout drawings, hook-up diagrams, loop diagrams, and termination diagrams.
  • Create cable schedules, I/O schedules, including hard and soft I/O.
  • Generate instrument schedules and material take-offs.
  • Utilize AutoCAD for geometry, setup, borders, layers, etc.
  • Select field instruments and materials.
  • Conduct site surveys and foster team building.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring, managing performance effectively.
  • Inspire and motivate team members.
  • Conduct SIL verification in accordance with BS EN 61508 and BS EN 61511 standards.
  • Design thermowells and perform wake calculations.
  • Develop P&IDs and conduct hazardous area classification and DSEAR assessments.
  • Participate in hazard study awareness and engagement.
  • Analyze measurements, build services, and select control systems.

Technical Requirements:

  • Stay updated with the latest industry standards and technological advancements.
  • Be proficient with all relevant systems and electronic tools.
  • Maintain full awareness of applicable legislation and standards.
  • Understand company policies and procedures thoroughly.
