Job Summary:

Dunbar Education is seeking a highly organized and efficient Cover Manager to join our team. As a Cover Manager, you will be responsible for managing daily cover arrangements for absent staff and ensuring the smooth running of our school's operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize and Manage Cover: Coordinate daily cover arrangements for absent teaching staff, ensuring minimal disruption to learning.
  • Liaise with Supply Agencies: Work with internal staff and external supply agencies to coordinate cover requirements.
  • Update Records and Communicate: Maintain and update cover records, and communicate effectively with staff about daily cover arrangements.
  • Provide Administrative Support: Assist with general office duties, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date.
  • Support School Operations: Assist with general office duties to support the smooth running of the school.
Requirements:
  • Administrative Experience: Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a school environment.
  • DBS Check: A valid enhanced DBS check (on the update service) is essential.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
