Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse to join our team at University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust. As a Neonatal Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to newborns and their families, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical care to neonates and their families, including assessment, planning, and implementation of care.
  • Lead and coordinate shifts, ensuring seamless handovers and effective communication with the team.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote a positive team culture and support the development of junior staff.
  • Contribute to the development of education and training programs for neonatal nurses.

Requirements
  • Registered Children's Nurse, Registered Nurse, or Registered Midwife qualification.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
