KFS Recruitment is collaborating with a dynamic financial institution that is experiencing significant growth and is seeking a dedicated Property Investment Underwriter to enhance their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluating and underwriting all loan documentation, including property valuation assessments.
  • Requesting supplementary information as necessary.
  • Identifying and addressing any issues related to the application and associated documentation.
  • Conducting thorough checks on applicants and properties.
  • Determining the appropriateness of the loan requested.
  • Proactively following up on outstanding information.
  • Providing timely updates to all involved parties.
  • Recommending and forwarding cases to the Credit Committee for necessary approvals.
  • Coordinating with introducers, valuers, solicitors, and applicants.
  • Managing the case from initiation through to finalization.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized.
  • Comprehensive understanding of FCA regulations.
  • Experience in Mortgage Underwriting.
  • CeMap qualification is essential.
