About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Hygiene Operative to join our team at Greencore Group Ltd. As a key member of our cleaning team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our factory environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out daily cleaning tasks to schedule, working collaboratively with the team to ensure all areas of the factory are clean and tidy.
  • Conduct deep cleaning of large machinery, wearing full PPE as required, to maintain a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Work in both chilled and hot environments, adhering to strict temperature controls and safety protocols.
  • Complete paperwork to document cleaning activities, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
  • Promote a positive health and safety culture within the workplace, identifying and reporting any hazards or equipment malfunctions.
  • Use and store chemicals safely, following established procedures and guidelines.

Requirements
  • A basic understanding of English, both verbal and written.
  • Previous experience in a cleaning or related role is an advantage, but not essential.
