About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Hygiene Operative to join our team at Greencore Group Ltd. As a key member of our factory operations, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces, to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the factory.
  • Deep clean large machinery and equipment, wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Work in various environments, including chilled and hot areas, to ensure all areas of the factory are clean and safe.
  • Complete paperwork to document cleaning activities and maintain accurate records.
  • Promote a culture of health and safety within the workplace, identifying and reporting any hazards or equipment malfunctions.
  • Use and store chemicals safely, adhering to COSHH and HACCP guidelines.
Requirements
  • No prior experience is necessary, as comprehensive training will be provided.
  • A basic understanding of English, both verbal and written, is essential.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or industry is advantageous, but not required.
