About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out daily cleaning tasks, including the cleaning of general areas, machinery, and equipment, to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Deep clean large machinery and areas of the factory, wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Work in various environments, including chilled and hot areas, and maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization.
  • Complete paperwork and documentation to record cleaning activities and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Promote a positive health and safety culture within the workplace and report any damaged equipment or machinery to the relevant authorities.
  • Use and store chemicals safely and in accordance with company procedures.
Requirements
  • No prior experience is necessary, as comprehensive training and education will be provided.
  • A basic understanding of English, both verbal and written, is essential.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or industry is an advantage, but not a requirement.
  • Knowledge of COSHH and HACCP procedures is highly desirable but not necessary.
