Warehouse Manager

Evo Personnel is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Manager to join our prestigious Distribution client in the Blackburn area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Warehouse Operatives and mentor, develop, and grow the team.
  • Manage stock, materials, storage, and despatch, ensuring efficient and effective warehouse operations.
  • Process documentation and administration, including managing the warehouse budget.
  • Implement ways to reduce waste and increase efficiency within the warehouse operation.
  • Work closely with the Quality Manager to support implementing policies and procedures.
  • Ensure machinery, equipment, and FLT's are maintained and reports are kept up to date.
  • Have a strong understanding of IT and exceptional organisation and communication skills.
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment is essential.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of managing team performance and KPI's.
  • A strong understanding of Health & Safety.
  • Ability to implement progressive ways of working to enhance efficiencies within the warehouse.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
