Job Title: Maths Education Support Specialist

Job Summary:

  • Provide academic support to students in a Secondary School setting, focusing on Maths.
  • Assist teachers in delivering Maths lessons and developing educational materials.

About the Role:

Ribbons and Reeves Limited is seeking a highly motivated Maths Education Support Specialist to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Maths Education Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting students in a Secondary School setting, focusing on Maths.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Maths support to students, either individually or in small groups.
  • Assist teachers in preparing and delivering Maths lessons, including lesson planning and resource development.
  • Support students with special educational needs in Maths, promoting inclusive learning and developing strategies to overcome barriers to learning.
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement Maths curriculum plans, ensuring that students receive a high-quality Maths education.
  • Contribute to the development of Maths resources and educational tools, ensuring that they are engaging, effective, and aligned with curriculum requirements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:1 Maths degree from a top 20 UK university.
  • Experience working in a Secondary School setting, preferably in a Maths-related role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop and deliver educational materials, including lesson plans and resources.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
