Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Junior Construction Supervisor to join the team at Fawkes & Reece South. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in residential construction projects who are eager to develop their skills in project management.

Contract Type:
Temporary to Permanent

Compensation:
Competitive daily rate

Key Responsibilities:
As a Junior Construction Supervisor, you will:
1. Assist the Site Manager in the planning and execution of construction projects from start to finish.
2. Ensure adherence to safety standards and company protocols throughout the project lifecycle.
3. Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel to facilitate efficient project delivery.
4. Aid in the scheduling and organization of project activities, resources, and workforce effectively.
5. Conduct routine site evaluations and quality assessments to verify compliance with specifications.
6. Help maintain comprehensive project documentation and reporting.
7. Support budget management by tracking expenditures and ensuring cost control.

Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in the construction sector, ideally in a similar capacity.
- Strong understanding of construction techniques, materials, and equipment.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., MS Office, project management tools).
- SMSTS certification is essential.
- A diploma or degree in Construction Management or a related discipline is preferred.
- Strong leadership and motivational capabilities.
