Senior Project Manager - Nuclear New Build

First Achieve Recruitment is proud to present a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join a global Engineering company in Falkirk, Scotland. This role is ideal for someone with experience in New Build Nuclear Projects.

The salary on offer is up to £60,000 per annum, alongside many more benefits such as 8% contribution to pension and more.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Overall responsibility for Nuclear New Build Projects (NNB).
  2. Responsible for the overall execution of the projects, including all elements of execution: Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost, following Business Standards and Procedures.
  3. Promote and maintain a culture of professionalism, openness, honesty, commitment, collaboration and continuous improvement at all levels of the Projects.
  4. Own and lead the NNB projects risk profile, and identify and incorporate lessons learned.
  5. Standing in for NNB Project Managers when required (leave / illness etc.).
Requirements:
  1. Strong engineering and service-related background. Experience in managing major projects and leading a deadline driven project/team.
  2. Strong financial and commercial understanding.
  3. Sound understanding of modern project planning/scheduling processes.
  4. Willing to become fully conversant with company HSEQ procedures and management systems.
