About the Role: PK Education is in search of a dedicated and passionate SEN Support Assistant to join our team in a Special Education Needs (SEN) institution. This role focuses on providing essential support to students aged 5-11 who experience profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist students with daily living activities, including eating, personal hygiene, and mobility.
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Engage with students to promote their emotional and social development.
  • Contribute to the overall ethos and values of the school.

What We Offer: The position comes with a competitive daily rate ranging from £88 to £97, based on your experience. You will have the opportunity to work in a nurturing and inclusive environment, equipped with excellent facilities and a supportive leadership team.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with complex needs in educational or care settings within the last two years.
  • Qualifications such as Teaching Assistant Level 1, 2, or 3, or a Health and Social Care qualification or equivalent.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a professional team.
