About the Role

We are seeking a talented Junior Footwear Designer to join our team at Kurt Geiger. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating innovative and stylish footwear designs that meet the company's high standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop new footwear collections that align with the company's brand strategy and customer needs.
  • Research and stay up-to-date with the latest fashion trends, materials, and technologies to inform your design decisions.
  • Collaborate with the buying team to ensure that designs meet brand requirements and customer expectations.
  • Provide technical drawings and specifications for suppliers and finalize approved designs for production.
  • Work closely with the design team to develop and refine designs, ensuring that they meet the company's quality and aesthetic standards.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of and passion for the Kurt Geiger brand, customer, and collections.
  • Ability to produce high-quality work quickly and efficiently.
  • Engagement and enthusiasm for the fashion industry, with strong knowledge of luxury and high-street trends.
  • Ability to produce original, creative, and brand-appropriate ideas based on upcoming trends.
  • Flexibility and ability to change and reprioritize tasks as needed.
  • Strong technical and practical knowledge to deliver accurate samples.
  • Ability to take responsibility for design work and follow samples through to completion.
