Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Junior Footwear Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for assisting in the development of customer-focused product collections that align with our brand strategy. Your expertise in designing mens footwear for high-fashion retailers will be invaluable in supporting our designers and driving our brand's success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and analyze trends, materials, trims, and color palettes to inform design decisions
  • Design new products that incorporate original ideas and meet brand requirements
  • Provide technical drawings for suppliers and finalize approved designs for production
  • Collaborate with the buying team to ensure fit and aesthetics meet brand standards
  • Contribute to the development of customer-focused product collections that align with our brand strategy
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of and passion for the Kurt Geiger brand and customer
  • Ability to produce high-quality work quickly and efficiently
  • Engagement and enthusiasm for the fashion industry with strong knowledge of luxury and high-street trends
  • Ability to produce original, creative, and brand-appropriate ideas based on upcoming trends
  • Flexibility and ability to change and reprioritize tasks as needed
  • Strong technical and practical knowledge to deliver accurate samples
  • Ability to take responsibility for design work and follow samples through to completion
