About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech and Language Therapist to join our team in Salisbury. As a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist, you will be responsible for providing therapeutic interventions to young people, conducting clinical assessments, and formulating individualized care plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct clinical assessments and formulate individualized care plans
  • Provide therapeutic interventions tailored to the needs of young people
  • Collaborate with educational and residential staff to create supportive environments
  • Monitor and evaluate the progress of young people, adjusting interventions as necessary
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to discuss and plan care strategies
  • Offer training and support to staff on mental health and therapeutic practices
  • Engage with families and external agencies to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements
  • HCPC registration
  • Membership of the RCSLT
  • Completion of newly qualified competency framework
  • A recognized Speech and Language Therapy qualification
