Speech and Language Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech and Language Therapist to join our team in Salisbury. As a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist, you will be responsible for providing therapeutic interventions to young people, conducting clinical assessments, and formulating individualized care plans.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct clinical assessments and formulate individualized care plans
- Provide therapeutic interventions tailored to the needs of young people
- Collaborate with educational and residential staff to create supportive environments
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of young people, adjusting interventions as necessary
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to discuss and plan care strategies
- Offer training and support to staff on mental health and therapeutic practices
- Engage with families and external agencies to ensure comprehensive care
- HCPC registration
- Membership of the RCSLT
- Completion of newly qualified competency framework
- A recognized Speech and Language Therapy qualification
