Assistant Psychologist

Job Title: Assistant Clinical/Counselling Psychologist
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Assistant Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our team at Priory Hospital Suttons Manor. As an Assistant Psychologist, you will work closely with our experienced and HCPC registered practitioner psychologists to provide high-quality psychological care and assessment to our service users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Psychological Assessments: Conduct protocol-based psychological assessments of service users, applying psychological tests and gathering information from service users and their care teams.
- Care Planning: Assist in the formulation and delivery of care plans, working with service users and their care teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Therapeutic Groups: Co-facilitate therapeutic groups, working with service users to develop and implement group-based interventions.
- One-to-One Sessions: Assist with the planning, delivery, and review of one-to-one sessions, working with service users to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, presenting and sharing relevant information with colleagues and other stakeholders.
- Multi-Disciplinary Meetings: Attend and contribute to multi-disciplinary meetings, working with colleagues to develop and implement effective care plans.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Support and contribute to data collection and analysis, working with colleagues to develop and implement research and service evaluation projects.
Requirements: You will be expected to apply your undergraduate degree in psychology in your work, under the supervision of an experienced and HCPC registered practitioner psychologist. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement effective psychological care and assessment strategies.
