Role Overview

We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team of Honorary Assistant Psychologists/Therapists within the Havering IAPT service. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality primary care support to individuals with mental health issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment and CBT intervention to clients in a group and 1:1 format.
  • Liaise with IAPT colleagues, other psychological therapies staff, and agencies responsible for a client's care.
  • Support the implementation of the national IAPT agenda within a local context.
  • Attend and fulfill all requirements of the clinical/training element of the post.
  • Apply learning from the training programme in practice.
  • Receive supervision from educational providers in relation to course work to meet the required standards.

Requirements:

  • Passion and interest in mental health.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

What We Offer:

  • Part-time minimum of 3 days (21.0 hours) per week for a minimum of 6 consecutive months and a maximum of 12 months generally.
