Speech and Language Therapist Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Speech and Language Graduate to join our team at RIBBONS AND REEVES. As a Speech and Language Graduate, you will work alongside a qualified Speech and Language Therapist to provide intervention to mainstream pupils with speech, language, and communicational needs.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain vital experience and fulfill their ambitions to become a Speech and Language Therapist. You will work in excellent schools located in Havering, providing support to children with severe learning and language communication difficulties.

As a member of our team, you will be part of a world-class partner school in Havering, working closely with qualified SALTs to deliver SAL intervention to pupils with speech and communication difficulties.

This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children struggling with language disorders. You will be paid £90-£100 per day (inclusive of holiday pay) and will work on a PAYE basis.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing intervention to mainstream pupils with speech, language, and communicational needs
  • Working alongside a qualified Speech and Language Therapist (SALT)
  • Participating in SAL intervention delivered to pupils with speech and communication difficulties
