About the Role

The Senior Business Manager will play a critical role in supporting the Operations Manager in driving the performance, productivity, and wellbeing of their onsite delivery team. This involves observing, coaching, and developing team members to exceed their targets, resolving escalated complaints, and maintaining key relationships with partners.

The role requires close collaboration with the Operations Manager to ensure accurate analysis and presentation of data to senior stakeholders, both internal and external. This includes identifying solutions, proposing, and presenting them at senior level. The Senior Business Manager will also ensure the team's adherence to quality targets and guidelines in accordance with the programme's requirements and PeoplePlus policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Operations Manager in managing the performance, productivity, and wellbeing of the onsite delivery team.
  • Observe, coach, and develop team members to exceed their targets.
  • Resolve escalated complaints and maintain key relationships with partners.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to ensure accurate analysis and presentation of data to senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure the team's adherence to quality targets and guidelines.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of team management across multiple sites and contracts within the Welfare to Work sector. They will have a proven track record of meeting contractual targets and achieving financial budgets. The candidate should be an inspirational leader with strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships. Essential travel throughout the UK may be required.
