About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Specialist Nurse - IV Therapy. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients in their own homes, administering a range of IV therapies as specified in patient care plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver safe and effective nursing care to patients in their own homes, adhering to agreed clinical pathways and protocols.
  • Conduct holistic clinical assessments to identify patients' needs and develop personalized care plans.
  • Administer a range of IV therapies, including medications and treatments, as specified in patient care plans.
  • Build strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records, adhering to regulatory requirements and standards.
Requirements
  • Registered General Nurse (RGN) with current NMC registration.
  • Experience in IV therapy administration and patient care in a homecare setting.
  • Strong understanding of therapies and medications relevant to our service offering.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet changing service demands.
