About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sports Coach to join our team at Kings Camps. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-energy, fun, and inclusive sports sessions to children aged 5-17 years.

As a Sports Coach, you will work closely with our Camp Manager and a team of like-minded individuals to create a safe and engaging environment for our young participants. Your primary focus will be on designing and delivering sports programs that cater to different age groups and abilities, ensuring that every child has a positive and enjoyable experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver sports programs for children aged 5-17 years
  • Supervise children during sports sessions, ensuring their safety and well-being
  • Participate in swimming sessions and oversee safe use of equipment
  • Record any incidents or accidents that may occur during sports sessions
  • Collaborate with the Camp Manager and team to ensure seamless delivery of sports programs

Requirements:

  • At least 6 months' experience working with children from 5-17 years
  • At least 3 months' experience coaching a sport or active games
  • Vibrant, resilient, and team-oriented individual
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Level 2 or higher qualification in Primary or Secondary Teaching, Sports Coaching, or Physical Education
  • Paediatric First Aid certification (training opportunities available)
