About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sports Coach to join our team at Kings Camps. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-energy, fun, and inclusive sports sessions to children aged 5-17 years.

As a Sports Coach, you will work closely with our Camp Manager and a team of like-minded individuals to create an engaging and safe environment for our young participants. Your primary focus will be on designing and delivering sports and activity programs that cater to different age groups and abilities.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and delivering sports and activity programs for children aged 5-17 years
  • Supervising children during lunch breaks, swimming sessions, and other activities
  • Ensuring the safe use of equipment and promptly recording any incidents
  • Building relationships with parents/guardians and interacting with them in a professional manner
  • Participating in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about working with children, has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and is able to work effectively in a team environment. Person Specification

We are seeking a candidate who:

  • Has at least 6 months' experience working with children from 5-17 years
  • Has at least 3 months' experience coaching a sport or active games
  • Is a vibrant, resilient, and team player
  • Is flexible and adaptable
  • Has a Level 2 or higher qualification in Primary or Secondary Teaching, Sports Coaching, or Physical Education
  • Has Paediatric First Aid certification (training opportunities are available)
