About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sports Coach to join our team at Kings Camps. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-energy, fun, and inclusive sports sessions to children aged 5-17 years.

As a Sports Coach, you will work closely with our Camp Manager and a team of like-minded individuals to create an engaging and safe environment for our campers. Your primary responsibility will be to design and deliver sports sessions that cater to different age groups and abilities, ensuring that every child has a positive and enjoyable experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and delivering sports sessions that meet the needs of children aged 5-17 years
  • Supervising children during their lunch breaks and participating in swimming sessions
  • Ensuring the safe use of equipment and promptly recording any incidents
  • Building relationships with parents/guardians and interacting with them in a professional manner
  • Participating in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • At least 6 months' experience working with children from 5-17 years
  • At least 3 months' experience coaching a sport or active games
  • Vibrant, resilient, and team-player qualities
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Level 2 or higher qualification in Primary or Secondary Teaching, Sports Coaching, or Physical Education
  • Paediatric First Aid (training opportunities are available)
