Job Summary
The Royal College of Nursing is seeking an experienced Activist Engagement Officer to join our team. As an Activist Engagement Officer, you will play a key role in enhancing activism across the UK, supporting the Lead for Activist Communities to improve the experience of active members, and engaging directly with members who want to become active.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Lead for Activist Communities to implement the RCN Activism Strategy and meet key objectives in line with the RCN's 5 Year Plan.
- Develop engagement through local structures and activist networks.
- Work closely with the Lead for Activist Communities to explore and enhance existing activist roles, and foster new alternative routes into activism.
- Support the Head of Activist Engagement to implement the RCN Activism Strategy.
Requirements
- Proven experience in building activism for social change.
- Passion for healthcare and the nursing profession.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and influence change.
- Proven record of seeing projects through to completion.
