Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of technical operations at the manufacturing site, including quality control, food safety, regulatory compliance, and hygiene standards.
  • Develop and implement robust quality management systems to meet industry standards and customer requirements.
  • Lead and mentor a team of technical professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance and development.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality and safety protocols.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies, customers, and external auditors, maintaining strong relationships and representing the company's interests.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging data analysis to inform decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in a technical or quality leadership role within the FMCG industry, preferably in food manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of quality management systems, food safety standards (HACCP, BRC, etc.), and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading teams and driving performance improvement initiatives.

  • Competitive salary range: £80,000 + £6,700 Car Allowance (£95,000 package)
