Travel Sales Consultant Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Sales Consultant to join our team at a reputable Tour Operator based in the West End. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for servicing both direct clients and travel agent partners with a professional and friendly manner at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle inbound calls from direct clients and travel agents in a professional manner.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to discerning customers who book high-value trips.
  • Support with crisis events such as high and low water, flight changes, and non-operational tours.
  • Confidently use multiple Microsoft programs, especially Excel, for day-to-day workload, tasks, and data entry.
  • Handle the overflow of customer service calls from direct/trade partners in a professional manner.
Requirements:
  • Strong focus on quality of service as well as quantity.
  • Proven experience in a sales role, preferably within the travel industry, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Ability to be flexible and deal with non-sales workstreams when required.
  • Confident with Microsoft programs.
  • Flexibility to work on a rota basis, 37.5 hours per week, between Monday and Sunday.
  • Ability to adapt to the company culture and live the company values.
