About the Role

XL Event Lab is seeking a highly skilled Content & Social Coordinator to join our dynamic in-house marketing team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive content strategy that drives engagement and ticket sales across our online properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation
    • Develop and coordinate the creation of high-quality content, including copy, video, and image assets, for various digital channels.
    • Collaborate with graphic designers, art directors, photographers, and videographers to meet content plan requirements.
    • Craft clear and concise creative briefs for third-party creative teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality assets.
    • Establish and maintain a centralized library of marketing assets for teams across the company.
  • Social Media
    • Work with the Head of Digital and company directors to refine our social media strategy, focusing on enhancing growth and engagement.
    • Develop and schedule compelling multimedia content across various social media platforms.
  • Influencer & Partnerships
    • Research and grow our network of marketing partners to reach audiences beyond paid media campaigns.
    • Collaborate with influencers, media partners, and venue marketers to ensure they have the necessary assets for impactful campaigns.
  • Reporting & Analysis
    • Generate regular reports that communicate content performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
    • Stay informed about innovative marketing strategies and content utilized by similar brands.
    • Keep abreast of new platform developments and emerging channels, making recommendations for testing as part of our content strategy.

XL Event Lab is an international event production company that creates large-scale, unforgettable experiences. We aim to temporarily disconnect people from their devices, get them outside and active, and bring friends, families, and communities closer together. Our company has grown year on year since 2007, producing over 500 events annually, with thousands enjoying our events every week.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in growing a brand, with a strong understanding of social media platforms, especially Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality content.
  • Strong project management and people skills.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools, such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or similar.
  • Results-oriented, with a natural drive to continually improve performance and streamline working processes.
  • Relevant qualification in marketing, PR, advertising, communications, or social media.
  • Experience with graphic design and video editing software, such as CapCut, Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or similar.
  • Experience with email and marketing automation platforms, such as Hubspot, Klaviyo, or Mailchimp.
  • Some experience with digital advertising platforms, such as Meta Ads Manager or Google Ads Manager.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Excel.
