Consultant Gastroenterologist with Expertise in Clinical Nutrition

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as a Consultant Gastroenterologist with a special interest in Clinical Nutrition. You will be working across all three sites within the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust and community sites, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our clinical services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert clinical care to patients with gastrointestinal disorders, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of conditions.
- Develop and implement clinical guidelines and protocols for the management of gastrointestinal disorders.
- Contribute to the development of new services and initiatives to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Supervise and train junior medical staff, including medical students and junior doctors.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of care plans for patients.
- Engage in research and development activities to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Contribute to the development of educational programs for healthcare professionals and patients.
