About the Role

Boldyn Networks is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee the efficient and safe operation of our inventory and asset management operations across various sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement warehouse and logistics strategies that align with company objectives and drive business growth.
  • Manage and maintain inventory levels across all locations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in procurement and stock management.
  • Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and procedures.
  • Maintain asset management systems to track and manage company assets effectively, reducing waste and optimizing resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with various departments to forecast inventory needs, manage obsolescence, and plan for peak periods, ensuring seamless supply chain operations.
  • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement, including ways of working and health and safety practices, and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with supply chain partners to optimize transportation costs and delivery times, improving overall logistics efficiency.
  • Utilize technology to improve inventory management and logistics operations, streamlining processes and enhancing data-driven decision-making.
  • Prepare and manage the warehouse budget, reporting on performance metrics and providing insights for business improvement.
  • Ensure the safe operation of spaces within the warehouse facilities, maintaining up-to-date H&S briefings and logs for visitors and employees.
  • Develop a clear understanding of the company's policies and vision, and contribute to the development of a long-term warehousing and logistics strategy that aligns with business objectives.
  • Ensure stock control systems are up to date, and make sure inventories are accurate, with planning for future capacity requirements.
  • Organize the recruitment and training of warehouse staff, monitoring staff performance and progress, and providing coaching and development opportunities.
  • Liaise with internal customers to monitor the quality of service they are receiving, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery, and equipment used within the facilities.

Requirements

  • Experience in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, with a proven track record of managing inventory across multiple locations.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment, with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Proficient in the use of warehouse and inventory management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
