Roaming Vehicle Damage Assessor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Roaming Vehicle Damage Assessor to join our team at FMG Repair Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing and estimating vehicle damage, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service and that our business operates efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to assess the extent of damage and estimate repair costs
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of estimates and repairs
- Liaise with insurance companies and customers to obtain authority to repair vehicles
- Work effectively with engineers and technicians to explain and ensure understanding of repair methodologies
- Stay up-to-date with repair methodologies, Thatcham Repair Methods, and BSi safety standards
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor or Estimator
- Experience using Audatex and NVQ level 3/City & Guilds or ATA/IMI qualification
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
