Key Responsibilities- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the production department.
- Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices.
- Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of the business to ensure smooth progress.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures.
- Oversee quality control, safety, and monitor production KPIs.
- Collaborate with Plant Manager and site Engineers on Continuous Improvement initiatives and strategies.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and appraise team and department managers.
- Formulate strategic and operational objectives.
- Examine financial data and use them to improve profitability.
- Proven experience in the FMCG industry, specifically in an Engineering & Manufacturing role.
- Excellent knowledge of production management and quality standards.
- Strong ability to interpret financial data.
- Great team leadership skills.
- Working knowledge of performance evaluation metrics.
- Oversaw teams of 200+ people with two layers.
- Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- A competitive salary range of £70,000 - £90,000 per year.
- 20% Discretionary Performance Bonus.
- 25 days holiday, increasing each year with service to a maximum of 30 days.
- Birthday holiday non-contractual.
- Life Assurance (X3 AS).
- Pension scheme.
