Job Overview

This fixed-term/secondment position is designed to meet the needs of the service.

An opportunity has arisen to work as a receptionist in the Nant Y Glyn Community Mental Health Team to cover a period of time.

The purpose of this post is to provide an efficient and comprehensive administration and reception service for the service.

The post holder will work alongside the multi-disciplinary team and support in offering seamless care for the population.

Main Duties of the Job

To provide comprehensive reception and clerical support for the Mental Health Service.

Demonstrating a courteous, professional and sensitive manner at all times, the post-holder is expected to prioritise, manage their time and demonstrate a high degree of flexibility.

To be part of a cohesive and integrated admin function of the service.

By the nature of the duties, the post-holder will be required to maintain strict confidentiality and will be expected to deal with patients, carers, relatives, medical/clinical staff and other service users, using the telephone and in writing, with courtesy and discretion at all times.

Requirements

The ability to speak Welsh is essential for this post.
