Role Overview
Connex Education is collaborating with a Secondary School in Hartlepool to find a qualified English Teacher for a full-time position during term time.
About the Institution
This school is well-regarded in the Hartlepool community and is part of a multi-academy trust. They have a supportive Senior Leadership Team (SLT) seeking an individual who shares their commitment to education to deliver English lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4.

The ideal candidate will confidently integrate into the department and continue with the established curriculum.
Assignment Details
This role can begin immediately or after the upcoming half-term and will continue for the remainder of the academic year.

Candidate Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS).
- Hold a PGCE in English or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Must have an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
- Experience teaching English in a UK secondary school environment is essential.
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging English lessons for KS3 and KS4 across various ability levels.
- Passionate about fostering a love for English language and literature.
- Exhibit excellent classroom management and behavior control skills.
