About the Role

The One Group is seeking a highly skilled Grants Officer to join their team. As the backbone of their fundraising team, this role will be pivotal in supporting projects that restore wetlands, create wildlife corridors, and promote community collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and Identify Opportunities: Discover and pursue new grant opportunities to ensure projects are well-funded and sustainable.
  • Write Compelling Proposals: Craft persuasive grant applications and reports that showcase the impact of The One Group's work and inspire funders to support their mission.
  • Build Relationships: Engage with funders, partners, and stakeholders to build strong relationships that enhance their funding base and strengthen their network.
  • Monitor and Report: Track the progress of funded projects, ensuring compliance with grant conditions and delivering comprehensive reports to their funders.
Requirements
  • Excellent writing skills and attention to detail.
  • Confidence in managing relationships with funders.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment.
  • 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
  • Salary: £26,908 per annum.
