EKFB is proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood.
We're seeking a highly skilled Site Engineer to join our team based in Chipping Warden.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the construction operations in the Banbury area, ensuring that all works are carried out to the required standards, programme, and budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with the Sub Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant, and materials to carry out M&E works activities.
- Assist in the coordination of varied contractors and ensure smooth delivery in a 'just in time' fashion.
- Ensure that the team has all current information and resources required to carry out their duties.
- Assist with the production of programmes, progress reports, resource, and cost plans.
- Contribute to financial forecasting.
About The Candidate
We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual with:
- A HNC/Degree (Construction/M&E related) or equivalent.
- A valid CSCS card (White, White-Yellow, Red - Experienced, Black - Manager, or Gold - Supervisor).
- Previous structures experience is preferred.
- Demonstration of knowledge and practical application of Site Engineering activities combined with construction supervision skills.
- Experience in highways or structures is essential for this role.
- A valid driving license and access to a vehicle.
