**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Research Associate to join our team at the University of Cambridge. As a Senior Research Associate, you will play a key role in providing analytical and data management support to research groups within the Metabolic Research Laboratories.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Design, implement, and interpret projects utilizing human genetics data
  • Analyze whole exome/genome sequence data in clinical genetic studies and large-scale population studies
  • Develop and maintain computational tools and pipelines for data analysis
  • Collaborate with research groups to identify and prioritize research projects
  • Communicate research findings through publications and presentations

**Requirements**

  • PhD in genetic epidemiology, statistical genetics, computational biology, bioinformatics, or closely related fields
  • Strong computational background and experience with statistical genetics approaches
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
