Job Summary

The Retail Store Manager will be responsible for the sales and retail operations management duties of the store, including people management and boutique operational management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in F&B and experience in managing high-end retail stores.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Sales Growth

Monitor actual sales and motivate the team to achieve sales targets, ensuring the store meets or exceeds sales projections.

Operational Excellence

Work to strict brand guidelines on quality of presentation and operation, maintaining the highest standards of housekeeping and customer service.

Team Leadership

Enhance staff customer service and selling techniques, preparing various analyses on sales figures and forecasts for management review.

Staffing and Scheduling

Responsible for staffing rotas within the store and F&B element, ensuring adequate coverage and minimizing labor costs.

Day-to-Day Operations

Oversee day-to-day operations of the store, solving unresolved operational issues and maintaining a positive working environment.

Quality Control

Monitor the implementation of retail operations manuals, enforcing company policies and guidelines to ensure consistency across all stores.

Performance Management

Monitor sales team performance, coaching the store team to identify sales opportunities, manage customer services, and maintain operational standards.

Talent Development

Identify and develop high-potential staff to build a future talent pool for the company.

Team Motivation

Motivate, drive, inform, and actively coordinate retail teams to build team spirit and a positive working environment.


Requirements

  • Experience

8+ years of relevant working experience, with at least 5 years at a managerial level in a luxury goods or high-end retailer.

Skills

Target-oriented and client-focused, with strong leadership and management skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Qualifications

Excellent command of spoken and written English, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
