Job Summary

Hays Senior Finance is seeking a highly skilled Senior Management Accountant to join our team in a luxury retail company based in the UK. As a Senior Management Accountant, you will be responsible for providing financial leadership and support to the business, working closely with various departments to drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business stakeholders to develop and implement financial strategies that drive business growth and profitability.
  • Own and manage the profit and loss account for the cost centers, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Manage monthly accruals and adjustments, as well as intercompany reconciliations, to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
  • Support budget holders across various departments in preparing budgets and reforecasting, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead and manage a team of Assistant Accountants and Finance Assistants, providing guidance and development opportunities to ensure the team's success.
  • Collaborate with the wider finance team to ensure seamless financial operations and support.
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks as required to support the business.

Requirements

  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or qualified by experience.
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced retail or FMCG environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Passion for retail and a drive to succeed in a dynamic environment.

What We Offer
