Role Overview: Home Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Home Manager to lead the daily operations of one of our care homes. As a key role, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality care and support for residents, meeting financial goals, and maintaining full occupancy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direction and support to the care team, fostering a culture of kindness and empathy.
  • Recruit, train, and retain skilled care professionals committed to delivering person-centered care.
  • Ensure the home meets all CQC standards and maintains excellent care quality.
  • Manage the home's budget, control costs, and achieve financial targets.
  • Monitor and evaluate the home's performance, making necessary improvements.
  • Ensure a safe and secure environment for residents and staff.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Home Manager or in a similar leadership role within the care sector.
  • Current or previous registration with the CQC.
  • Excellent skills in building relationships with residents, families, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Strong ability to inspire, motivate, and manage a care team.
  • Proficient in budget management and financial oversight.
  • Familiarity with CQC standards and relevant regulations.

Working Hours:

8 hour shift, Monday to Friday

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CQC Management: 4 years (preferred)
  • Care Home Management: 4 years (preferred)
