Job Summary:

Norse Group is seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join our team in Essex. As an Asbestos Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting asbestos management, demolition, refurbishment, and re-inspection surveys across various building sectors, including domestic, commercial, and industrial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct asbestos surveys and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies for mitigation.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to identify new business opportunities and contribute to meeting operational demands.
  • Provide expert advice on asbestos management and risk assessment to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in asbestos management and risk assessment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in asbestos surveying and risk assessment within the building industry.
  • BOHS P Building surveys & Bulk sampling for Asbestos or equivalent RSPH qualification.
  • Full driving license and ability to travel frequently to sites and offices.
  • P-Certificate would be an advantage but not essential.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with TEAMS software.
