Job Title: Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Carbon60. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of solar projects, ensuring that all O&M activities are undertaken in compliance with the contractual scope.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with the Health and Safety team to identify and address any hazards at the projects
  • Collaborate with the Health and Safety team to resolve issues raised during annual audits
  • Stay up-to-date with O&M and EPC Contracts
  • Manage a portfolio of solar projects, ensuring that all O&M activities are undertaken in compliance with the contractual scope
  • Address any failures or downtimes from O&M Subcontractors to ensure project KPIs are met
  • Manage fault tickets, ensuring contractual obligations are met
  • Regularly update project Clients, particularly the Client Account Manager
  • Respond to any issues raised by project Clients, whether operational or non-operational
  • Assist the Operations Manager in implementing O&M reports (monthly, yearly)
  • Liaise with Regional Account teams for invoice acceptance, contract amendments, services, and materials delivery confirmation
  • Liaise with grid operators in case of failures or scheduled outages for the projects
  • Work on the FAC punch lists of the project and pursue the FAC certificate
  • Negotiate FAC defects with Clients to minimize company exposure and seek advice from the Legal department
  • Chase up the release of WC/PAC/FAC retentions from Clients
  • Schedule WC/PAC/FAC SL outstanding works for projects that have reached WC/PAC/FAC
  • Seek quotations from subcontractors for works to be performed on site, particularly related to FAC/PAC Punch lists
  • Expand the database of contractors by making new collaborations after searching for new contractors
  • Verify that projects are built in accordance with Planning Permissions
  • Ensure that guidelines set up by the BMP of the projects are followed
  • Perform Spare Parts Management
  • Update Server files and keep electronic backup of all activities
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Solar or Bess Industry (EPC/O&M/Engineering/Consulting)
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Proven experience in managing a team and operating in both a technical and client-facing role
  • Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project
