Platform for Life is seeking a skilled Grants and Trusts Coordinator to lead on expanding income from a sustainable portfolio of trusts and foundations. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the strategy to significantly increase our restricted and unrestricted income, aiming to surpass £500,000 this year.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, with a proven track record in high-value fundraising from trusts and foundations or a similar field. They will cultivate and maintain key relationships with funders capable of contributing four to six-figure sums.

The key tasks for this role include working closely with the CEO to develop a plan for multi-year income growth from grant funding, aligned with the Charity's strategic objectives and income targets. The role requires developing the strategic direction for grants and trusts funding, ensuring a pipeline of high-value bids and a sustainable income stream.

Securing both restricted and unrestricted income for Platform for Life involves initiating, managing, and developing a comprehensive programme of applications to a wide range of funding sources. The Grants and Trusts Coordinator will identify funders that align with the work carried out by Platform for Life, and collaborate with the CEO, colleagues and trustees to produce high quality, innovative bids, ensuring the strongest possible application is submitted.
