About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Manager to lead our care home team. As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the home, ensuring that available resources are used effectively to provide a high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and direct the care home team, ensuring that all staff receive regular supervision and support.
  • Work closely with the Service Development Team to select and assess potential new residents, and ensure a smooth transition into the home.
  • Develop and implement dynamic support plans for all service users, taking into account their individual needs and aspirations.
  • Ensure that the home operates in accordance with all statutory requirements, using the National Minimum Standards as a benchmark for good practice.
  • Take a lead role in risk analysis and management, ensuring that appropriate assessments and plans are in place to minimize risk.
  • Ensure that the home provides a safe and supportive environment for service users, promoting their personal development and well-being.
  • Support the Company's Disciplinary and Grievance processes, as required, including involvement in investigations and chairing of disciplinary hearings.
  • Undertake any other managerial tasks as required, in accordance with the seniority and level of responsibility inherent in this position.
Requirements
  • The ability to keep calm under pressure and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confidence to work alone and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The passion to work with vulnerable adults and a commitment to achieving high standards of safeguarding.
  • Experience of working in a care home or similar setting, with a strong understanding of the National Minimum Standards and relevant legislation.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team, with a strong focus on staff development and support.
