We are seeking a highly organized and experienced AutoCAD Technician to join our team at Nicholas Associates in Sheffield.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and deliver AutoCAD drawings, providing technically sound engineering solutions.
- Produce General Arrangement Drawings.
- Administer and custodian of Engineering Records.
- Manage Assets and BOM structure development.
- Liaise with external suppliers and contractors to provide solutions to production and engineering challenges.
- Develop plant drawings to improve performance and reliability.
- Understand and interpret drawing and specifications to resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and problems as they arise.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and objectives.
- Participate in meetings and discussions with stakeholders to provide updates on project status.
- Maintain Design Change Registers and ensure appropriate levels of configuration control are applied.
- Utilize well-developed time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
